![]() TLDR: Don't buy an ASUS laptop if you value your hard-earned money. When I reached out to them for support, Arnold SU and Pradish Nair have not even taken time out to grace me with a reply. I saw this sub and remembered and had a great laugh. Not only that, they made me pay for MS Office and sent me a code that was already used! Back in the day our industry got a ton of Nigerian scammers. ![]() So it's clear to me that the devices have either not been able to handle the atmospheric moisture (which no one can do anything about) or that ASUS is lying and swindling customers of their hard-earned money. Never once have I had any water spill on either of my devices. Then when they finally took my laptop they decided to declare my warranty void because of 'moisture in the motherboard'. When I tried to get my laptops fixed, they made me run around in circles for a month just to get my extended warranty 'confirmed' (never heard of such a thing before, it's usually confirmed right at the time of payment for their overpriced extended warranty). And no its not a scam, the reason why its discounted so much is basically what I told you, its a designer laptop but gigabyte overestimate the amount of people who would pay 2. I made the mistake of purchasing two TUF gaming laptops from ASUS and in less than a year, both laptops stopped working. However, considering the lack of professionalism shown by ASUS India's team, I figured I'd speak up here. ![]() I don't usually treat LinkedIn as a platform for communication that isn't related to work.
